Blue Point Bible Church in Blue Point New York has recently called Michael Miano to be its new pastor. So??? Well, Miano is a full preterist. This means he believes and teaches that Jesus already came back. You might think this kind of belief would rock this church which has been in existence since the 1800s. But Blue Point was already an unabashed fulfilled eschatologyi congregation.
Miano won't have many knocks in the congregation with his eschatology but I thought it would be interesting to hear how Miano plans to successfully grow this congregation. After all, many "big name" full preterists have attempted to pastor churches but have failed or had less than ideal results.
So, whether you agree or disagree with full preterism, listen to how Miano plans to try to do something practical in this congregation.
